Kayden Damien Masters sat in class and tapped impatiently with his pen on his notebook. His teachers voice had become a silent humming in the back ground. It was Friday and this was the last lesson of the week, the last lesson that was keeping Kay from his weekend fun. Throwing a quick glance at the clock on the wall, Kayden sighed in frustration. The last minutes of the lesson seemed to not want to pass, he told himself annoyed. His attention went after that to the window, that showed the world outside, away from school, where fun and some time to relax was waiting for him. Kayden knew it was dangerous to not pay attention during the lesson, especially in this last minutes, because their teacher loved to call out students that were not paying attention. But Kayden simply didn't mind anymore at the moment. Also he was normally a good and attentive student. Plus he was clever so he would probably be able to talk himself out of a problem, if he would get into one. He knew his sister sometimes was annoyed about that talent of his, because she thought that, that way he was making his life far too easy for himself. But he knew Kat was never really angry at him, she was just angry that she with all her acting experience didn't get out of trouble as often as he did.
Finally the bell rang and the students were released from their torture. Kayden saw the for a moment confused expression on his teachers face as he looked at the clock on the wall. Seemed as if for their teacher the time had passed far to fast. Grabbing his stuff and putting it into his bag, Kayden couldn't help but smile now. It was weekend, what meant he had a few days in which he would not have to worry about homework or anything school related. Fast the young man left the classroom and stepped into the hallway, which was crowded with students now. They all seemed to have the same goal as Kayden getting out of school as fast as possible. What made getting to the door almost impossible. So Kay decided that he would go to his locker first and get ride of everything that he did not need this weekend anymore. Also the chances were high, that he would then see his sister on his way out. But on the other hand, he could also see Kat having left already with some of her friends. He wouldn't have minded her company, but on the other hand was also quite happy with being alone for a moment.
Reaching his locker he opened it and placed all books and notebooks he didn't need anymore inside. Then he took out some things he would need for the weekend and placed them in his bag. Taking a small mirror from his locker, Kayden threw a glance into it. Moving a hand through his hair, he made it look more messed up again, as if he just had played football or had come in from outside, cause after the long school day it had become flat and had fallen into his forehead. Kayden was not vain, but he thought that it was important to always look gorgeous, especially with all the pretty girls running around school. After he had done that, he put the small mirror back and closed his locker, before he made his way to the front door that lead out of school and into his freedom. As Kay stepped outside, he was for a moment blinded by the bright sunlight. But at the same time enjoyed the warm sun beams on his skin. Once his eyes had gotten used to the sun, he walked out of the building and over the grounds to get to his car. Lost in his thoughts he didn't pay much attention to where he was going and so suddenly bumped into another person. And since it was not like Kayden to apologize for anything, he said "Hey, can't you watch out where you are going?!" while picking up his bag again, which had fallen to the ground when he had bumped into the other person, before turning his attention to the mentioned person. tag: open! words: too many! -- notes: anyone can feel free to join! ;) -- template by eliza @ shadowplay |

Post by BLAKE LEX HEMINGWAY on Apr 8, 2012 22:58:43 GMT -5
Blake Lex sat in thought while the class room chattered away, she glanced down at her note book before scribbling down a few things. History/Economics was by far her favorite class, much more interesting to her then any of the other classes she had gotten this year. So, even though it was sixth period on a Friday, she still kept her attention on the lesson. She tucked a few blonde strands of hair behind her ear before raising her hand to as a question about what the teacher had just brought up. "Since we seem to be feeding into China's plan, of having us bankrupt to them, is there any chance they'd try to end our alliance because they know we wouldn't be able to do anything without borrowing money with them?" Blake heard a few snickers from some of the other students and she rolled her eyes. She didn't look like much of a nerd, and for the most part, she wasn't. She was just curious about what was going on around the world, unlike others. 'I mean, because Russia still hates us. Maybe not as much as they did in the cold war, but they still do. If they honestly wanted to, couldn't they just team up with China?" Tilting her head, Lex shifted in her seat and listened as her teacher spoke in reply.
It wasn't much longer before the bell rang and kids hurried off to their long awaited weekend. Laughing lightly to herself, Lex slid her notebook, along with her book, into her bag and slung its strap over her shoulder. Her teacher stood from his desk, and waved a goodbye as she exited. "Great questions today Miss Hemingway. See you next week." Lex smiled and waved back, walking towards her locker.
Blake had never been the partying type, sure she had gone to a few parties here and there but it wasn't her thing. Watching ignorant drunk people throw themselves on each other and act stupid. She was much more 'chill', as others would call it. She mostly spent the weekends with her only close friend and watch movies. Don't get her wrong though, she's fairly popular within the school walls, but not for the reasons the Barbies are. She's just friendly and knows how to make friends with others.
Moving a few things around her in her locker, she pulled out her math book and slid it into her bag before closing and locking her locker. Pulling her phone out for the first time, since lunch, she went through a few texts from her boyfriend, a small smile playing her lips. She was in a reply when she felt herself bump into another person. Stumbling back her phone slid out of her hands and fell onto the floor. She glanced up at the young man and frowned. "I'm sorr-"
"Hey, can't you watch out where you are going?!"
Rolling her eyes she bent down to grab her phone and stood back up. "Get over yourself." She pulled her bag on to her shoulder again after it had slung off and pushed her way past him.

Kayden knew he probably should have been nicer to the girl he had just bumped into. After all he had not paid attention as well, also school was finally over what should have made him be in a good mood. It was not as if Kay minded school so much. No on the contrary, he sometimes even liked it, because school could be interesting at times. He was no nerd, certainly not. But if Kayden knew one thing then it was the cleverer he was the easier it was to manipulate people. He knew that this was what a lot of people did not like about him. Sometimes he even drove his sister insane with it. Kayden remembered that she once had told him as she had been angry at him, that she kind of envied him for his charm and his attention for details. It was true that Kayden did notice a lot of things other people did normally miss, also he had always been a fast learner, what made it easy for him to learn stuff for school in a very short period of time. This gift had saved him a few times already from getting terribly bad marks in tests, he had completely forgotten about. But of course, he was not perfect. No he was far from being perfect.
He had normal problems just like everyone else. His biggest one at the moment, was that he was still being in love with a girl, that had broken up with him a while ago. Another one was that he had grown kind of tired of this whole always having to look out what was said and written about him and his family in the media. In the last time more then ever before Kayden had found himself wishing for a normal life. Not that he would ever admit that to anyone. Fast Kayden pushed tried to push these thoughts away again, since thinking about them didn't help anything. Since there were things in this world that would certainly never change and trying to change them would just destroy him. But in that moment he thought, that he probably wasn't angry at the girl that had bumped into him or looking to not lose his reputation as a bad boy. No he probably was just angry at himself and about the mess his life was at the moment. So he closed his eyes for a moment took a deep breath and tried to calm himself down.
Looking at the girl in front of him more closely now, Kayden had to admit she was pretty. He watched her frown and heard her say "I'm sorr-" and added a moment later "Get over yourself." What made now a small smirk appear on Kay's face. Then she walked past him leaving him standing there all on his own. Laughing lightly, he shook his head about himself and about the girl. He had always liked fiery woman and this one seemed to be pretty angry right now. Fast he spun around and jogged after her. "Hey wait!" he called her. Once he reached her, he stepped into her way. "Okay look I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be so rude, it's just I had a really long and hard day and I tend to get aggressive when I'm annoyed, so really I'm sorry." Kayden explained and gave the girl a dazzling smile. Before adding "By the way, I'm Kayden, Kayden Masters." "And whom do I have the pleasure with?" and giving the girl a charming smile. He knew he was probably not gonna get anything out of her, after he had reacted like a jerk, but who knew maybe he was wrong. After all, he had seduced a lot of girls with his good looks and his charm. Not that he was interested in that right now, but who knew once he got to know her, she could be fun. And that was exactly what he was looking for this weekend, fun. tag: Blake!<3 words: too many! -- notes: sorry if the post is a bit crappy, but it's late and I'm tired, I promise the next one will be better! ;) -- template by eliza @ shadowplay |
